The digital revolution has revolutionized the way information is distributed and consumed. Anyone can be a publisher! Yet, academic textbook publishing is stuck in the 20th century. Students are forced to pay high prices for textbooks. Not here! Textbooks at textbook consortia are set at a price point students can afford.

Fairly Compensated Authors

Publishing houses used to help authors publish their work by obtaining copyrights, creating art, typesetting, indexing, making glossaries, and editing. For that, they would take 80-90% of the profits. The world has shifted and authors do much of this work. Yet, publishing houses still want 90 to 95% of the revenue from book sales. Why?
